Gracias a nuestra Uni\u00f3n y la membres\u00eda organizando, Licinia y Hector est\u00e1n de regreso.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>La Mesa Directiva est\u00e1 recomendando un voto en favor del acuerdo.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hemos ganado:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reintegraci\u00f3n de Licinia Ochoa y Hector Sanchez. Tambi\u00e9n, Fabian Moran es elegible a regresar.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Solo una&nbsp; auditor\u00eda anual.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aviso de 4 meses antes de una auditor\u00eda I-9.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Aviso de 6 meses a un empleado antes de expiraci\u00f3n de su permiso de trabajo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Un proceso y protecciones para corregir su documentaci\u00f3n.<\/strong> Si la Compa\u00f1\u00eda encuentra discrepancias o su autorizaci\u00f3n de trabajo expira, la Compa\u00f1\u00eda tiene que darte:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 semanas a corregir su documentaci\u00f3n y puedes usar tiempo pagado acumulado<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 meses de licencia sin pago se&nbsp; mantiene su seguro m\u00e9dico<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 meses donde puedes traer documentaci\u00f3n y aplicar por un puesto vacante que est\u00e9s calificado. La Compa\u00f1\u00eda tiene que tomar su servicio anterior en cuenta cuando est\u00e1n escogiendo entre usted y un aplicante externo. <strong>Tambi\u00e9n, mantiene su se\u00f1or\u00eda si regresas entre este periodo.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Somos una de las primeras Uniones en ganar protecciones contra auditor\u00edas I-9.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\u00a1Cuando organizamos, ganamos!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p>On October 22nd, the Company and Union reached an agreement regarding I-9 procedures (Memorandum of Understanding, MOU). Thanks to our Union and the membership organizing, Licinia Ochoa and Hector Sanchez are in the process of returning to the Company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Executive Board is recommending a yes vote.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We won:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reinstatement of Licinia Ochoa and Hector Sanchez. Fabian Moran is also eligible for reinstatement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A limit of one I-9 audit for a calendar year.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 month notice before an I-9 audit.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>6 month notice before a worker\u2019s work authorization expires.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A process and protections to correct your immigration documents. <\/strong>If the Company finds a discrepancy with your paperwork or your work authorization expires, the Company has to give you:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>2 weeks to correct your I-9 paperwork and you can use any accumulated paid time off<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4 months of unpaid leave where you maintain your health insurance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>20 months where you can&nbsp; bring the necessary paperwork and apply for a job opening to which you are qualified. The Company has to take you previous service into account when they are choosing to hire you or another external applicant. <strong>Also, you maintain your seniority if you return in this period.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We are one of the first unions to win protections against I-9 audits.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When we organize, we win!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Voto de Ratificaci\u00f3n &#8211; martes, 22 de octubre en el cuarto de descanso a lado de la mesa de seguridad.
